I HAVE PLANTED A TREE IN MY HEART
I have planted a tree in my heart!
Whenever I feel tired,
I sit down,
with my back against the trunk.
I look at the sky through the foliage of the tree
and peace comes back to my heart.
A painting made by nature
White flowers on a carpet of moos
Trees, thin so that they can move with the wind
The sun is drawing shadows and light
Now that the colours of the trees have changed,
as a reflection of my thoughts
I feel myself strong again
with dreams tickling me
nourishing my imagination
my giggle creates a world full of wonders.
""my giggle creates a world full of wonders" is a beautiful line. Evokes a sense of childlike innocence, or even naivety.
Something I wouldn't mind a bit more of lately!"
"The feeling of picking up the broken pieces of oneself to start once anew reigns supreme in your poem.
I can feel the sense of audacity of hope of a new start through your meticulous use of imagery."
